Hello I'm Ed Schenng.
Schenng Studio is my portfolio. It is a small collection of a large volume of work created through the years. Learning as I go, stumbling and finally understanding principles in several areas. A work in progress.
Photography provides the visual and initial force for the rest of the project. It can stand on its own or can serve to support a larger point or story. Many clients would like to add a new perspective to their product or idea through a photograph. I can' think of anything else that is a direct link to our senses.
Design is closely related to photography. It thrives in a visual communication with a subject. Color, shape and form are a unit that lets us indulge our senses in a pleasant balance of information.
Logos & labels are a part of every business, school, church, and products that surround our lives. They exists in every corner of our every day World. The whole Planet is cover in some form or another by logos, labels and brochures. They identify our wares, our lifestyle and our wishes. From the creation of a personal identity, business cards; to the inner most wishes of our minds; a logo for a band. Logos and labels lets the World know you are there!
Presentations I believe, is such a dynamic and powerful force that grabs or repels the audience; a presentation regardless of how well created it is, will give life to an idea, thought or product.
It allows the presenter the opportunity to explain in great detail his subject matter. It will make even the dullest idea an attention getter.
Web Design is by far the most effective media in today's world, whether is a personal or business venture. A website let's you have a 24/7 presence in the World. It doesn't matter what your product or idea is, the Internet provides anyone, with the amazing and inexpensive method of visiting your friends or potential customers with a free pass into their homes.
Anyone, regardless of experience is able to promote any thing; from underwear to the most controversial idea through the magic of a website. This where all comes together; Images, design, words, etc. I love it.
